Back in November 2021, The Motorcycle Collective launched with a brand new, custom-build trailer offering a fully-functional mobile workshop for motorcyclists. The trailer served as the epicentre of our regular Monday and Thursday night meet-ups as well as at the motorcycle events dotted across the Wellington Region.
Whilst the trailer served us well for nearly 5 years, it had a couple of drawbacks which were a niggle during this time. Two significant niggles were the cost of the insurance to keep it on the road and the fact that we needed a 2nd vehicle to tow the trailer .. and someone to drive it !
So in July 2026, we decided to sell the trailer and tow vehicle and consolidate the workshop into a large van. The first order of this operation was to dismantle the trailer of all the workshopy things that we’re collected and installed over the last 5 years:
